Each year in August Frank Wade and Vince Boschman of RBC Dominion Securities host the Riverview Charity Golf Classic. The pair founded the event in 2003 as a way to show appreciation to their clients and to raise money for a progressive facility.

Funds from this event go to support Foundation initiatives that will enhance the quality of life for patients and residents. Recent initiatives include the renovation of the Centre's outdoor wander-ways and the upgrading of Riverview's bathing facilities.

This year’s Riverview Charity Golf Classic will be held on Tuesday August 21st at Glendale Golf & Country Club in support of refurbishment of Riverview’s palliative care unit. Call Jon Ljungberg, Special Events Coordinator at 478-6220 for details.

  • 10:30 am - Registration opens    
  • 11:15 am - Lunch available  
  • 12:00 pm - Shotgun start at noon   
  • 05:15 pm - Mix & Mingle
